Lucid Genomics Wins Public Award at Hack4Hope for Advancing Childhood Cancer Innovation
Hack4Hope, organized by the Paris Saclay Cancer Cluster (PSCC), brings together startups, clinicians, researchers, and patient advocates to co-create impactful solutions for childhood cancer. The initiative addresses a critical unmet need: despite major advances in biomedical research, childhood cancer remains one of the leading causes of disease-related death among children, underscoring the urgency for new diagnostic and therapeutic approaches.
During the hackathon, participants developed innovative projects aimed at advancing paediatric oncology. Teams benefited from close collaboration with experts across disciplines, including clinicians, researchers, industry leaders, scientists, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning specialists. This multidisciplinary environment enabled rapid ideation, rigorous feedback, and meaningful discussion around real-world clinical challenges.
Lucid Genomics was honoured to receive the Public Award, a recognition we are deeply grateful for. This award highlights the relevance of our work on the dark genome and its potential to unlock new biological insights that could support breakthroughs in childhood cancer research and patient stratification.
We congratulate all winning and finalist teams for their outstanding contributions to the field:
ORINOVA · Innov’nCare · Little Journey · MSInsight · Kindling Bio
We would also like to sincerely thank the mentors, patient advocates, scientists, and pharma leaders who dedicated their time and expertise throughout the event. Their insights and thoughtful discussions on how our technology can better support innovation in paediatric oncology were truly invaluable.
Lucid Genomics remains committed to advancing data-driven approaches that improve outcomes for paediatric patients, and Hack4Hope was an important step forward in that journey.
